im thinking of getting a new video card because the one i have is not so great and i want to buy some games but i need a better video card to play them. I need one thats not over $100 but i need one that will make the sims 2 games play really good cuz i bought sims 2 deluxe and sims 2 pets and it plays OK, but its very slow, and the walls in the game are always flashing red and i heard the only way of fixing that problem is to upgrade the video card. ALSO, my dad said there is no way to take out and put a new video card in because its in the mother board or something. Is that true? ooooo and since im not so great with computers, please explain to me to where i can understand it. sorry, im really terrible with computers :)
also, some video or info that shows or tells you how to like take the video card out and put it in or what ever, would be reallllyyyy appreciated. Thank you so much!|||Your dad is wrong, you can upgrade your video card. However, you told me that your computer is an eMachines. eMachines are exceptionally bad computers. Everything in them is low-end and slow. Your video card is likely only one of a number of things that's making your games run poorly. Of course, Sims 2 doesn't exactly have steep system requirements, so upgrading to a semi-descent video card should help.
