What kind of video card will work with my Emachines T5026 model? i cant seem to find any that are compatible.?

does anyone know which video card will work with my computer? & can i install it myself?|||Only PCI-e (a.k.a PCI Express) x1 (not x16) or standard PCI is available for expansion slots.

Google has your cards:

There are no AGP or PCI-Express slots to facilitate a video card upgrade. The only option you have is installing a PCI based video card (note: NOT PCI-Express). Compared to the onboard Intel Graphics Media 900 chipset however, there will not be much of an improvement, and possibly may perform worse.

Low cost PC's are made for basic use, with very little if any thought put into future upgrading. Thats why they cost so little. Like everything else (and more so in most cases) you get what you pay for.

I personally have installed a PCI graphics card in a computer very similar to yours. A program (not a game mind you) required a minimum video chipset to operate, and this solved the problem. I can't guarantee that this will be any better or worse than where you're at right now, but the BEST PCI video card I could find is this:

It's expensive at almost $135, but it's about the best you can do with PCI without spending more money than you would just buying a new computer.

If you do purchase it, it comes with instructions on how to install it (if you can turn a screwdriver, you can install an add-in card like this one). And, if you do decide to try the PCI card, I would be interested in talking to you further to see what the outcome is.

Hope this helps.
