Emachines desktop freezes since adding video card?

i have an emachines T6524 with XP. since adding a new video card - asus EN8400GS, the computer now freezes once windows is loaded. if we restart the computer, the computer does not freeeze and everything runs fine until the next day when we turn it back on(after shutting down the night before. there is nothing on the box saying i would have compatibility issues. anyone know why it would freeze or what needs to be done to fix it?|||You can fix this problem by:



-- cleaning system junk

-- optimizing computer services

-- optimizing internet

-- repairing registry

-- defraging registry

-- clearing browsers junk



do these things with some powerful tool such as intel software partner Reginout|||it wasn't any of the above suggestiong... i had the settings wrong, adjusted and now hasn't frozen since...

|||try to reinstall the graphics card driver again and check if its hooked tightly. and try to scan your pc, viruses, spyware, registry problems are the common causes why computers would freeze.
