What video card can fit in my emachines T5010? really need help...?

ok so yea i need help in finding a video card that can work with it and hold a pretty good frame rate for half life too....yea i dont have enough for a computer...seriously if you can help that would be awesome...|||An eMachines T5010 has 2 open PCI slots and one PCI E x1 slot. You can't put a PCI Express x16 card in it. Your pretty much limited to an Nvidia 6 series card. They're not bad, but that's about all the higher you can go. I don't use ATI cards, so I can't help you there. Just remember: YOU HAVE NO PCI EXPRESS x16 SLOTS........AND YOU ALSO HAVE NO AGP SLOTS. So, don't buy those kinds of cards.|||You're welcome.

|||ALL FOR ONE 9600|||According to what I could find out about your computer's specs, an "eVGA 256-P2-N554-AX Geforce 7600GT KO 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card" might be up your alley.

This is a good midrange card that can be purchased for $160 at Newegg.com.

Please be sure you have a PCI express slot, which according to what I could find online, you should.

Additionally, more RAM would help you out.|||You need to find out what kind of graphics slot your computer has. Typically computers will have an AGP, PCI Express or simple PCI slot for additional cards and upgrades. I couldn't find any information on what kind of slots the T5010 has. Check you system documentation or the eMachines support site.

Once you know what kind of video card your computer can accept then it's a matter of finding one within your budget. Keep in mind that super high-end graphics cards like the nVidia 7800 and 7900 series cards require additional power from a special PCI-E power adapter from your power supply, however you can get away with the entry-level and mid-level cards like a 7600GT without additional power.
