Emachines video card pc model # is w3653?

ok i bought an emachines (regret it) lol but i want to get a better CPU and Video card.....i want like a 9800gtx will it work for this pc|||Nope, unfortunantly the emachines oyu bought only has a PCi express slot of 1C this is not physically possible to run any graphics card from. also the pci slots could run a graphics card form the 90's but they are even worse than the onboard graphics accelerator, that is pretty bad, sorry wish I could be of more helps|||regarding what Col. i actually have this same computer and the specs on that website are wrong

it has two basic PCI slots, one PCI Express 1x, and a PCI Express 16x which is what most all current graphics cards use. you'll be fine if you get a bigger PSU

i will get blue screen of death or something, like every 30minutes.



Anyway, you are very very limited on what processor you can get. there are none really that you can get. But, for your video card, yes you can get a 9800gtx. BUT, you need to upgrade your power supply. That video card will die in like 10 minutes of you pc being on, if you don't upgrade your power supply. I know this, because I have an emachines pc, with a worse video card then that, and it cant even handle that.



Also, your computer has 2 pci-e slots on it.One is a PCI-E ×1, and one is a PCI-E ×16. YOU MUST PUT IT IN THE PCI-E ×16 SLOT.



By the way, what do you hate about ur Emachines? I hate everything about mine.
